Every card we track has an editorial estimate of its price as a near-mint copy, and most carry a live TCGplayer market price refreshed each week. A card lands here when its market price sits at least 10% and $5under that estimate — and is no higher than its own median market price over recent weeks, so a stale estimate can't pose as a bargain.

An estimate is our judgment, not a guarantee, and a market can move for real reasons. Before buying, open the card's page to see its price history, or compare with the weekly market movers and the most undervalued waifu cards.

Waifu card deals: questions answered

What counts as a waifu card deal?
A card whose live TCGplayer market price is at least 10% and $5 under our editorial price estimate, costs at least $10, and is no higher than its own median market price over recent weeks. That last test matters: a card that has sat under our estimate for weeks means our estimate is stale, not that the card is cheap — those are left out.
How often do these deals update?
Weekly, when market prices refresh. A card drops off at the next refresh after its price recovers, so the list reflects the latest week's prices.
Is the market price the cheapest listing?
Not always. The market price is what the card has recently sold for on TCGplayer; individual listings can be above or below it, and condition matters. Check the listing's condition and seller before you buy.
Should I buy a card just because it's under our estimate?
Only if it's a card you want. A dip can be a real opportunity or the start of a longer slide — each card page shows its price history, so look at the trend before buying.
